On a Break
If the task handler is going on a break, the task handler can tap On a break to update their status. Tasks are not assigned for the duration of the break.
When the option, On a break, has been tapped, a dialog box is displayed to set the type and length of the break.
Select the type and length of break and tap OK.
If the break duration does not match the set choices, tap More.
From the drop-down (displays Comfort break), select the type of break and then set the duration of the break. Tap OK.
A countdown begins for the duration set.
When the break is over, tap End Break.
A confirmation message displays, tap Yes. The Landing page is displayed and the task handler is "ready" and available to have tasks assigned to them.
Note: 5 minutes (timing subject to system configuration) before the break is due to finish, the task handler receives a notification. If they do not end the break, a further notification advises when the initial break time has expired and the countdown clock displays the accrued negative time. The task handler's status remains "On a break" and tasks are not assigned to them until the break has been ended.
Auto-complete Breaks Configuration
There is a system configuration, Auto-complete breaks and meetings, setting that enables breaks to be completed automatically. If your system has this switched on, as a break nears its ending, the 5-minute notification (subject to system configuration) displays as usual but when the beak timer reaches zero, the break completes automatically, the Landing screen displays and the task handler's status is set to Ready so new tasks can be assigned.
