Task Handlers are referred to as On Shift when their shift has begun and until they log out.

Example: In range - Out of range - When a task handler is on a break or in a meeting, hovering over the status displays information on the scheduled times of the break or meeting and, if it has overrun, how long the scheduled time has been exceeded. Example:
Note: There is a system configuration, Auto-complete breaks and meetings, if this is switched on, when the timer reaches zero, the break or meeting completes automatically and the task handler is set back to Ready. See Terms and Definitions for a list of Status Definitions. |

If the task handler is still on a task, a message is displayed with the options of the current task being cancelled or completed when the task handler is logged out. When the portal user confirms to cancel or complete the task, the task handler is logged out and a confirmation banner is displayed.
Note: If the cancel task option is selected, the cancellation reason is "Cancelled because user has been logged out via Task Handlers page".
-
In all cases, once a task handler has been logged-out, the On Shift Task Handlers page is refreshed and the logged out task handler is no longer displayed on the list. They will now be listed under the Off Shift Task Handlers tab.
